From the city of artists, baguettes, wars, lovers and sunshine...
Taking in the views from Sacré-Coeur during the day and all lit up at night
top bunk I felt so lucky to have friends that put up with my travel itineraries ... last fall I was taking the girls along on a work related meeting at the J.W. Marriott in Cancun, Mexico.... this time they get stuck with hostels and rental sheets :-) For me, let's just say this is probably a warm up to the accomodations in SE Asia....
Our neighborhood cabaret...
loving the outdoor markets here... and of course all of the fresh pastries and breads
on tap for today... bike Paris :-)
Notre Dame
Lessons learned... beyond all the great history and stories we have been absorbing, biking in the city is hard work, am currently rethinking decision to attempt becoming a D.C. biker upon my return next fall ;-)
Looks like you girls are having a great time!! Love the pics you are able to upload. The weather looks perfect. Enjoy the rest of Europe! Suz.... see you in less than 2 weeks!!!!! (you mean the hostels in Asia won't be like the JW Marriott????)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately... I'm thinking that our accomodations in Vietnam might just not live up to the JW Marriott....
ReplyDeletedon't forget your DEET ;-) and see you soon!!!
